Recording from other rooms

Is there any way to keep my daughter from recording in her bedroom without taking Whole Home DVR off completly?  Or, is there a way to protect what I have scheduled so she cannot stop my recordings?  She has already learned that it will ask her if she wants to stop what is recording and she know to click on yes.  Already missed two weeks of NCIS!!

unfortunately, no. that is the purpose of WHDVR, but in cases like yours is best to have two separate DVR's

Maybe a bit of education is in order.  Of course if the daughter is quite young you could remove the remote and let her use the buttons on the TV and receiver instead.

You can go to the setup menu and there is an option to allow or not allow deletion from the secondary rooms.  There is also a setup option where you can set the priority of certain programs so that if there is a conflict,  the system won't give the option to stop recording a high priority program.  Try tinkering with those to see if that helps.
