You need a RC73 remote for a genie directv box.
1. Go to settings.
2. Select Remote Control
3. Select Reset remote
4. Go back and select program remote.
5. I had to Hit mute and enter button located on right bottom of control. At the same time.
6. Then go back to program remote select onn tv and I don't know my model that worked for me.
