The Antenna belongs to you. Feel free to remove it. Or pay someone to remove it. While AT&T/DIRECTV will help get it aligned, etc., they will not remove it.

Do NOT remove the BASE--(leave it) unless the New Owner wants water inside the house.

I am replacing my roof and would like to move the Antenna to another location off the roof before the roofing is done. Will AT&T/DIRECTV help with this?

The Directv serviceman was out yesterday and relocated my dish close to where I wanted it relocated, a south wall instead of the north edge of my roof. Very resourceful guy, he reconfigured the cabling in my house so there was very little wiring on the outer wall. He left the old dish for the roofers to take care off when the house is reroofed. About 2 hours of downtime as opposed to 2days or more if I'd waited to have the dish remounted on the roof. Better yet, I can clean off the dish when it snows.
