Replacing genie mini that is not working

One of our genie minis no longer works and neither does the power cord. If I request a replacement, will I have a new contract?

I am asking because we are thinking of cancelling service at the end of the year and go to Roku. I do not want a new contract to start.

A warranty replacement of course does not come with a new agreement. An upgrade however would come with a 24-month service agreement.

You say that the Mini Genie and the power cord doesn't work. Have you tried the power cord with another box, or another power cord with the Mini Genie? Best to be sure about which part is the problem.
