Return Address Label Issue
Two weeks ago my husband called because our patio receiver wasn't working properly. We received a new receiver fairly quickly and were told to send the old receiver back to directv using the return address label provided. Sounds easy enough, but there was no return address label provided. We have called 3 times now and continue to get the run around, foreign people asking for our passcodes and other unneeded information, keeping us on hold and on the phone for long periods of time, and at this point we are fit to be tied. All we need is a return address label emailed to us or mailed to us directly so we can send back the old non working receiver. If we are charged a late fee because of directvs mistake there's going to be an even bigger problem. We have been loyal customers for almost 15 years now and this is ridiculous. Ever since at&t took over it's only getting worse. If this issue isn't resolved asap we will be cancelling, because unfortunately this is not the first, second, or even third issue we've had recently. There are plenty of other options out there now in 2019. Please send us a return address label assp.

What model number is that old Receiver? It might not actually need to be returned.
But the normal process is to take it to a FedEx or UPS Shipping Center, along with your account number. They'll return it to DirecTV. Just be sure to get shipping proof.
