Returning ATT and DirectTV equipment
I received an email from ATT with only a few things listed to return. It didn't seem to ask for the Direct TV items - just the ATT items. I'm planning on sending the lot back but then thought perhaps Direct TV would send me info separately from ATT. The email said not to send things not requested because I wouldn't get them back. I don't want them back. But, I can just see Direct TV coming along later and asking where their equipment is. It shouldn't be this difficult. I've tried calling but I was on hold for a long while and when I finally reached a representative, he didn't have the answers. Then I got disconnected. I just wasn't up to calling again. I'm retired but I don't have that much time on my hands. Thought I'd go the online route but the information is just as unclear. I know ATT and Direct TV merged, but they appear to still be separate. I was told that Direct TV would not be coming to get their satellite dish. There seems to be a lack of knowledge with the reps, though they've all been very nice. I just don't want to be charged for something I've returned. Help!
