Roku soundbar
I have an HR54/500 directv receiver. I want my receiver sound to go through the soundbar. I hooked the HDMI cable from soundbar to hdmi arc on tv. I hooke the hdmi cable from receiver to hdmi outlet on tv. I get no sound. When I unplugged the hdmi cable from receiver to the tv I get sound but from the tv only not soundbar. Any fix for this?

If you do not hear audio only when trying to play in surround sound, it is possible that your TV or AVR does not support the surround format used (for example, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby Atmos, and so on).
Please follow the next steps to connect your Roku soundbar:
1. Using the Roku remote, press Home and scroll and select Settings > Audio.
2. Set the Audio mode to Stereo.
3. Set the HDMI to PCM-Stereo.
