RV Installation - High Pitch Noise

I have a Wineguard roof mounted antenna and a DirecTV HD receiver (no DVR).  I have a high pitched noise that is present on all channels and regardless of power source.  I suspect the noise is coming from the antenna (possibly the tracking motor??).  Could someone recommend an inline filter or other solution to eliminate the noise?

Thanks for any help you can give me.

How is the receiver connected to the TV?  Did you disable the Dolby output on the receiver?

The receiver connects to a multi-switch box that feeds the TV through a red/white/yellow analog type cable (the multi switch box might have a video out "S" cable capability, but doesn't have HDMI).  The same type cable connects the multi switch box to the TV.

It's under the Audio Setup menu.

I'll do that tonight when I get home!  Thanks to both of you for the tip.

What type antenna do you have? Do the following one at a time. 1) Try by passing the switch box and go directly to the tv and see what happens. 2) Try unplugging the conrol unit that you use to align the antenna ( this WILL NOT cause you to loose signal) and see if that works. If you have the same problem, I would say that you have a problem with the reciever as it is unlikely to be the antenna system. I install a lot of the auto tacker antennas and I have never had a complait about noise. I have happen problems with some of the switch boxs that are used for mulity devices to the tv.  And I have never seen a switch box that had 's' video or hdmi inputs.
