Samsung TV HDMI not compatible with Directv
I have a new Samsung TV and I randomly get "Your TV does not support this program's content protection. Replacing the TV's HDMI cable with component cables will allow you to view this program." I know the temporary solution: unplug the HDMI cable and plug it back in, but I am looking for a permanent solution. Directv sent me a new mini Genie, but that did not solve my problem. I researched the leader board and all I gleamed was prior knowledge regarding the handshaking. Samsung tells me that the TV has the latest update and it's a DirecTV problem. Any info on solving the problem would be greatly appreciated.

How new is your Samsung TV?
Have you tried a different HDMI cable?
Is anything else connected to the DirecTV box besides the TV?

TV was brought in Nov 2021. Yes, tried different cable (new cable), tried different HDMI ports. All my research thus far seems to be a DirecTV problem. TV has been updated to newest software, only TV that has a problem. Surely, there's a solution.

What mini Genie model number?
Very puzzling. This used to be a common issue with early/older HDMI HDTVs, but we rarely see it anymore.

I am having this same issue with my samsung tv as well. I have to unplug the power cord and then plug it back in. We have had Directv for several years now with the same TV and did not used to have this problem. I think one of the updates from the Directv software caused this issue. Can you please advise of a permanent solution so that I do not have to keep unplugging and replugging the TV in?
