satellite connection for NEW hr54-700-R
new Genie install in place of older hr24-500 which was installed to msplit8R0-03 with 3 other hr24s. Online rep said to directly connect hr54 to satellite not to swim. Works fine but where do I now connect other remaining hr54s for satellite signal? Connection information would be appreciated.

You have to use the SWM splitter as that CSR is wrong. The HR54 has to be connected to the red power pass through port on the SWM splitter and you can remove any power inserter.

Do you have multiple HR54s? Usually one Genie DVR is allowed per each account.

DO you have a PI-29 Power supply (Box with Ac plug & rg6 connected) -if so that should be on RED port 1 of your 8way swm splitter. The Hr54 and the other 2 Hr24 can be on Swm port 2,3,4 --with all other ports capped,
