Satellite Dish

I have been asked to remove my satellite dish by the people who are buying my house. The dish is on a pole in my back yard.  I am just now cutting off my directv service so that means it will be the next billing cycle almost a month from now.  There are wires going into the dish.  Arent they live wires.  Wont I electrocute myself if I chop them off or try to undo them?  What to do???  The girl at directv told me the dish is mine but didnt know what to do about the wires.

The coax only carries 21 volts dc when the power inserter/HR54 is connected to it so there is little chance of electrocution.

Follow the cable inside and unplug it from the splitter or power inserter.  Then you can cut the cables and not have to worry about power.
