School install issues
I have had a DVR R10 working fine on a Channel Master 3041124 dish. We recently received 3 additional D12 receivers and a new MS4X8WB-2 multi switch.
I have connected the new multi switch to the dish in place of the old switch. The 4 wires from the 2 LNB's connected to the switch, and it gives me the 8 outputs. The first two outputs go to the R10. After telling that to automatically setup, it detected everything and is working fine.
I can not get the D12 receivers to work. It brings me to a setup screen asking for the dish type and switch type. I tried the multi switch option (but have not tried the SWM option), and all 18 satellite types it allows me, and in every case I get an error that it can not find a satellite. In the signal strength section, I can see signal readings on 101 and 119 on some of the dish options. It seems that every selection is either for one LNB, or 3 or more LNB's.
Any ideas?
