Series recording issue
Hello:
I have two DVR R-16-300 installed at my house. I have been experiencing series recording problems with both units on the same channel. We attempt to record as many episodes of Blue's Clues and Pinky Dinky Doo on Nogging (301) for the kids. Both shows are set as series recordings, record first run, keep until I delete. There are no storage issues on either receiver -- both have over 80% free.
The problem we are experiencing is that the guide indicates that the shows are to be recorded, but nothing happens. Further, if I delete the serires from the to do list, then go to an individual episode of either show, and press the record button once it shows a circle R; I press it twice for a series recording and it shows multipel circle Rs; then the received deletes the recording icon on its own, as if I pushed the record button for a third time, which would cancel the recording.
The DVR seems to work fine on all other channels. Further, my wife records a soap opera on a daily series without problem. Does anyone have an idea as to why I am experiencing a malfunction only on the kids' channel? I will gladly provide additional input if someone has a question that failed to address herein. Thanks.
