setting a start time to record

We all remember the old VCR which you would program with a start and stop time.  Is there a way to set a start time other than the actual program start time on my DVR?  For example a golf tournament is on for 5 hours but I only want to record the last 3.  It starts at 1PM.  Can I make the DVR start recording at 3PM?

Sure.  Menu -> manage recordings -> manual -> set channel number, start and stop times.  You might want to set the stop time beyond the schedule in case of a run over.

I can't comment on that because you failed to provide your DVR model number.  Lot's of folks blow past that request, but we have DVR's that are a few weeks old and ones that are several years old and the technology varies, as do the manuals.
