Signal Strength for Different Satellites on the Same Dish
I have a DirecTV satellite dish that is a SL3 LNB, and signal strengths from the various satellites seems to vary a lot. Listed below are the average readings over the last few days.
Stat 101 95 94 90 95
Sat 99 (ca) 41 37
Sat 99 (cb) 56 56
Sat 99 (s)) 54 53 59
Sat 103 (ca) 23 29 22
Sat 103 (cb) 40 39
Sat 103 (s)) 76 71
My question is, how do you adjust the dish to get the best readings? Can all of these satellites get good strength readings on one dish? Does adjusting one satellite automatically move the other readings to the worse; or can adjusting one satellite to the best readings automatically improve the readings on the other satellites?
I want to get the dish adjusted, but I don't know what to expect as an end result.
PS. I don't see any obstacles in the path of the dish.
I would welcome any thoughts and comments.

Thos signals are pretty poor, 99ca/cb and 103ca/cb should all be in the 80s at least. The dish is designed so that when it is aligned all the signal strengths are ok, so your dish definitely needs realigning. there are videos on youtube showing how to do this, but it's not easy, you might want to pay directv to do it for you.
99s ansd 193s carry spotbeamed locals so it is normal to see low or even zero signals on most of those transponders since they are carrying other peoples' locals and are not pointed at you.

Thanks for your help. I'll be calling DirecTV next week. Do you think I'll be able to get signal strengths on 99 and 103 as high as 101 is now?
Thanks again for your help.

Generally the 99/103 will only be in the 80s even with the 101 in the high 90s-100
