I have two remotes that have been in sync for Years …. Recently one quit working so I had to reset it. When I set it up with the TV the two remotes don’t work together. The volume echoes and that’s not working out. I’ve tried all 36 Sony options and can’t find a solution. Any help … I want my remote back to where it was before it lost its mind!

On is turning on the volume of the speakers in the TV, and the other is turning on the volume of the receiver and it's speakers.
make sure both remotes are being used such that the volume command works on the receiver.
Been there done that myself
