sTANDARD DVR TURNS OFF AND ON A 100 TIMES A DAY. VERY FRUSTRATED READY TO MOVE TO AT&T!

My r15-100 receiver restarts its self every few minutes. Its driving me crazy. I called directv and got absolutely nowhere, the person on the other end of the line had me restart the dvr which ive done a million and one times. and plug the electrical cord directly into the wall. And that was it. SHe said have I answered all your questions and I said not really cause you havent helped me at all!And she said have a great day and hung up. As soon as I hung up with her my dvr restarted itself again. Im ready to either throw my receiver at the wall or package it up and send all my equipment back to directv and move to at&t if someone cant help me.
