Streaming Pixelation Issues

Trying to stream HBO on demand and keep getting pixelation.

Happens on all streaming channels on my HR 44, and my 5 mini's.

Ethernet connected to all receivers with perfect signal quality.

I am tired of getting pixelation when streaming, on demand, or rewind and play, any streaming on Direct TV.

Internet speed test shows I have full speed and should have no issues.

Direct TV support is useless.

How do fix.  I have no issues with any of my other devices just Direct TV.

Makes me wonder why I keep them as one of my providers.

The speed test on my HR 44 says excellent speed no issues should be able to stream at full 4k.

Hello @rlmyers, we want you to enjoy your programming at the best quality.

Please keep in mind that in order to enjoy stream on 4K it's necessary to have a TV that supports the 4K quality, and a 4K receiver. Please let us know if you already tried to reset your equipment. We will be here waiting for the updates.

I know that about 4k equipment.  I was just explaining that I am getting excellent internet speeds with the Direct TV speed test so I should have no issues with streaming.  I did do a refresh on the receivers.

You asked and we answered your same question three months ago. Streaming "pixelation" issues will be caused by your internet connection.

I have no internet issue.  Connected gigabit Ethernet to HR44 and the Direct TV speed test shows that I can stream at full speeds.

This speed test was taken this morning no issue with connection.

That's what the DirecTV box thinks. But what is your actual download speed when measured with Speedtest?

Thanks for reaching out.  I do not know what you can do.  There is an issue with Direct TV streaming and repeat and play.  Direct TV needs to take a look at this.

Playing  purchased movies does not seem to do the pixelation, just streaming.  Thanks

That’s weird, I’ve never heard of pixelation on a video stream. If the internet connection isn’t fast enough, it buffers, it doesn’t pixelate. Your pixelation might be from the receiver, not the video stream. Sometimes I’ll see pixelation watching live tv, if I simply pause and resume the live video, the pixelation stops. Next time you see pixelation like that, try pausing and even rewinding a few seconds.

So I have miss communicated my internet connection.  I am not connected Internet Ethernet to the Ethernet port on the HR44, but connected via the DECA coax connected to the HR44.

The DECA is connected Ethernet to the router connecting the internet through the coax to all my receivers.

Because I never have any streaming problems anywhere wireless I tried to connect the HR44 using the wireless.  On the HR44 the wireless networks displayed and I was able to choose a network enter the password and it connected.

I thought I was internet connected wireless, but looking at the IP address on the HR44 it is the coax ip address not a wireless ip address.  The router verifies that.

Is there a way to connect wireless to the HR44 bypassing the Deca connection so I just have a wireless ip internet connection?

The DECA coax network links all 6 of my receivers.

How do I remove the HR44.
