SUV satellite dish/receiver for on the road directtv

Hey guys,

    Not sure which forum was appropriate for this question.  I have an H2 Hummer that I bought back in 04 (it's an 03).  When I bought it...it had a Metric Ton of electronics in it, including a TracVision low profile Satellite dish on the roof, and the receiver mounted inside.  I didn't have Directv at the time, but I did mess around with it a bit...enough to know I was getting the signal...The card was in there from the previous owner, but like I said...didn't have Directtv at the time..  Well, now I have Directtv, and so I'm wondering would these systems still work with the current direct tv?  If all the equipment still functions as built...ie the dish still tracks the satellite as it should...receiver still works....then what are the odds of me getting it up and running?  would I just need a new card?  would a new card work in the receiver thats at least 6 maybe 7 years old?  Any thoughts? Thanks.
