Switching from composite to coax...

The receiver put in my room has been set up to run composite cables from the receiver to the tv. My PS3 is normally plugged into that only slot for composite cables, its an older tv. Is there a way to switch the tv to running coax cables instead of composite so that I can plug my PS3 in and have the receiver plugged in at the same time.
