Switching receivers at cabin - will this work?

I've got a mountain cabin with current DirecTV serice. Very basic set-up and package. The account is in my sister's name and she pays the bill.

When I go up I would like to watch my MLB Extra Innings package. Can I take one of my receivers and access card when I go up, swap it out with the basic receiver and expect it to work?

If not, is there any other way to do this?

BTW, my account is in Amarillo, Texas and the cabin is located near Santa Fe, NM, so different zip codes, etc.
