Symbols on my DVR Playlist

I've noticed a triangle with an exclamation mark and now a circle with a K in it. I have no idea what these mean and can not find anywhere where they are defined. How do we know what they mean? Where can I find where these symbols are defined (i've looked everywhere)?

The "triangle exclamation" means that your hard drive is nearly full and these recordings are at risk of being deleted soon to make room for new recordings.

The "circle K" means you've set these recordings to "Keep Until I Delete".

Note that having too many "Keep Until I Delete" recordings can quickly fill up your DVR's hard drive and limit space for new recordings.  Sounds like you've got a lot of shows to watch!

The "keep until I delete" is a nearly useless feature in my opinion and if used, do so sparingly.

I have the blue triangle with an explanation mark and my disk is 97% Free. So it can’t mean the HD is almost full.

You're responding to an eight year old thread. Lots has changed since then.

What DVR model number do you have?

Can you post a photo of what you're seeing?

Could the reason for the blue triangle be that it was recorded from ON DEMAND?

Yes. OnDemand recordings have their own expiration rules determined by each network.
