Yes,  I purchased this equipment because I have limited space inside 3/4PVC conduit for entry into house . I thought the SWM was the way to go , but after reading many many post with people have problems not sure any more . After setting up dish and power inserter not sure what to select on receiver screen as to what disk and LNB to get started trying to locate satellites

DirecTV uses SWM going forward instead of the old multi switch.

However, what are the models of each DirecTV box you have?

No it has not been made private, I can read it. And why would you want to make it private anyway?

Heck, I can read it... who said anything about private.  And to whom?  I think some ATTHelp employee is confused.

The H24 should auto detect the SWM LNB so are you connecting the "To SWM" to the coax from the dish and the "To IRD" to the receiver?  With only one receiver you don't need the SWM splitter.

dishpointer.com can give you the setup numbers and AFAIK you only need your zipcode entered into the receiver to get the same numbers.

Connections ,

Cable from SWM-13 LNB to 4 way splitter , RG-6 cable from Red power out on splitter to Red on Power inserter , RG-6 cable from Out on splitter to HR24 receiver
