The picture disappears in the middle of a recording
One night I was watching a show that I had recorded earlier that evening and with about 10 minutes left, the picture turned black. There was audio but no video. This happened again a couple of weeks later about 45 minutes into an hour program. Coincidentally, our TV was in need of a new display so we just blamed it on the TV. Well, that TV finally died and was replaced. Last night, my family was watching X-Men/Wolverine that I had recorded for them last week. 54 minutes into the movie, the screen went black but there was still sound. We forwarded the recording to see if the picture came back but it never did.
Also, whenever fastforwarding or rewinding, occasionally it freezes. We then have to hit play to unfreeze then start the fastforward or rewind over again. Sometimes this can happen 2 or 3 times in an attempt.
