transferring data HD DVR to whole house HD DVR

We currently have a standard directv hd DVR, we are considering an upgrade to a whole house.  Here is the issue, we have a boat load of programming saved on the DVR for ourselves and the children.  Is there any method to transfer this information from the existing DVR to the new whole house DVR.

I will assume no, but thought you folks might have an idea.

Thanks in advance.

There's nothing to transfer.  All of the current HD DVRs are Whole Home capable, so your current DVR's recordings are safe.

there is no such thing as a whole house DVR.  WHDVR is actually the name for the programming or the ability to share the DVR's recordings.  so you get to keep your HDDVR's.  You just adding a service.
