Two dvr's and whole home

We are going to install two HD DVR's when we move and also the whole home system (so my husband can record and fast forward upstairs and downstairs).

Will the two dvr's be able to share lists or will they be completely separate from each other?    And, will the 3 standard receivers in the house have access to just one of the two DVR's??

Thanks for you help!

With WHDVR the two DVRs will share playlists with each other and with any other HD receivers you have. If by  'standard receivers' you mean non-DVR HD receivers, they will have access to the playlists of both DVRs. If you mean standard def (SD) receivers, then they can not participate in sharing at all.

One limitation to keep in mind is that each DVR can only stream programming to one other device at any given time.
