Unsync soundbar from genie remote

Turn off HDMI control in the Genie menu it is under video on my HR24

I have the HR54/200 and I don't see any video under the menu.

That seems to be working!  Thank you!   Never would have even thought to go the display setting.

I, too, would like to unsync our Vivio soundbar from the Genie remote.  Our DVR is Model HR-44-700.  I tried the suggestions here, but they did not work for ours.  Then I tried resetting our remotes to the factory settings and then set them up to work with our LG TV.  After all of that, the Genie remotes still turn on our soundbar whenever I do anything with the volume on the Genie remotes (note: turning the TV on with the Genie does not turn on the soundbar, only pressing the volume key does).  I'd sure like to get our soundbar unsynced.  Any ideas?    

Me too how do I fix this

The RC7X remotes are not made to turn on/off any sound bars or A/V receivers, HDMI-CEC does it, so if turning off HDMI control on the HR44 doesn't fix it then see if there a way to turn it off on the sound bar.

But how do I turn off the HDMI Control

As stated, Menu>Settings & Help>Settings>Display>Video at least for the HR24.
