Using DirecTV Remote for LG Sound Bar Power On & Volume

Someone accidentally unplugged my LG Soundbar (NB3530A) from my TV and now I can no longer turn the LG Bar on & off with my DirecTV Remote (RC73).  I've tried all instructions that I can find and followed the prompts but nothing works. Couldn't match it using LG Model Number, couldn't match it with the other 21 Model numbers.

The RC73 can't turn on/off any soundbars or A/V receivers, HDMI CEC does.

Please check your DM inbox (it's the chat icon next to the bell icon at the upper right corner of the forums) to take a closer look into this, please keep in mind the DIRECTV and AT&T separation process will not affect at all the quality of your services or your programming.

Thanks!

Not sure what an HDMI CEC is, this used to work fine until it was unplugged from the Sound Bar.  A small plug that plugs into the back of the TV strictly for sound.  Not HDMI.

HDMI-CEC sends a signal over the HDMI cable to turn things on/off,  losing power to the soundbar may have reset it to off on the soundbar.

Are you talking about the small round cord that plugs into the very-well-hidden audio jack just for audio? Not a normal audio plug, but not familiar with it.
