VOLUME STUCK ON HIGH
My remote is functioning correctly (changes channels, brings up the guide, etc) but when I turn on my TV the volume bar pops up and it is stuck on high. It won't change the volume or mute the TV. What do I do to correct this problem? I've tried turning everything off and restarting and that didn't help. Everything was fine last night but this morning the volume is stuck and won't change or mute.

try the remote that comes with your tv, could it be that the directv remote needs to be reprogrammed with your tv?

perhaps the volume key on the TV remnote control is stuck?
