Wall with no coaxial connection.

I have a wall in my home that i would like to put my TV on. This wall has no coaxial connection. Is there any such thing on the market such as a receiver transmiiter that I can connect to the existing coaxial outlet (on a different wall) and then connect the TV to to receive a wireless signal to my TV?

I hope I explained myself correctly and would appreciate any inputs.

thanks

Mike

No such thing.  But an electrician or DirecTV installer can run a new coax line to that room for you.

Thanks,

There is an outlet in that room, just not on that wall. Also, that wall has a bathroom/shower on the other side of that wall. I was told (but I never verified it) that running a new coaxial line on that wall is frowned upon because of the bathroom/shower.

There is no way to run an extension off of the existing outlet since the wall is separated by a hallway on one side, a bedroom on the other side, and a plant shelf that runs the length of the wall.

I think it is something that an installer needs to look at prior to determining if a new line can be run.

If the installer can get above (attic) or below (crawl space/basement), then they can fish the cable into that wall.

Thanks,

They can get into the attice. No basement/crawlspace.

Thanks again

Mike
