Wasted Time and Money!

Before you go and waste a half day waiting or allow direct TV to use your money free for 15 days. Make sure you don't have any I mean any trees to the south of your property.  I have just under an acre an the installer came out and said nope sorry and left. 😞 OK??  I have 3 large fur trees and 1 deciduous tree and he claimed i couldn't get 3 strong signals at once.? Or was it he didn't want to install the dish from more than 10' from my house? So if you have trees don't even bother with this service.

You can always request a 2nd opinon from a field supervisor to see if there is a LOS for the installation. Most Supervisors will find a LOS even if it is 150ft from the house and reset a new installation date or even get the tech out the nexted day to install.

Other than your time, what "money" was wasted?  There's no cost if the installer can't complete the job.

Same thing happened to me. The first tech didn't even try other options. Just said that setup was "impossible" and simply left. Fortunately I have a second opinion coming out to be sure that the first tech wasn't just being lazy
