WDAM Hattiesburg, MS channel swap re-scan finds WKFKLD
This morning WDAM moved from UHF to their old analog VHF assignment, Chs. 7-1 thru 7-3. I've been using the off-air converter (can't recall the model) to get my locals in my Guide, and it has worked great. I was getting WDAM with a very good signal on UHF.
So, this afternoon I re-do all my off-air settings, and now I see the old listings for WDAM 7-1 thru 7-3 plus three new listings for something called WKFKLD also on 7-1 thru 7-3.
WDAM 7-1 thru 7-3 has the right program info in the guide, but those channels have no signal.
WKFKLD 7-1 - 7-3 has the wrong program info, but does have the WDAM signal. From some programs in the guide it seems to be a station in Ocean Springs, MS. Maybe a translator?
My secondary market is 39501, Biloxi. That might explain the WKFKLD in the guide.
Either way, WDAM is not showing up correctly in the Guide, tho the signal on VHF is now a solid 100%. Nice job on the transmitter upgrade, local folks using antennas are thrilled so far.
Any hints as to how this will get resolved? I want to get WDAM in the guide, with WDAM's programs.
Thanks!
