WHDVR and 3D

I am considereing upgrading my equipment/system to WHDVR.  Currently, my 3D tv has to be directly connected to my DVR in order to record and display 3D programming.  In a WHDVR setup, does the 3D tv still need to be directly connected to the DVR or can I connect the tv to an HD receiver?  This would free up the DVR tuners for recording and allow me to watch something else at the same time.

In a WHDVR setup it doesn't matter if that 3DTV is connected to its current HD DVR or an HD Receiver.  It will still have access to all of the recordings across your WHDVR network.  I would simply leave it connected to the HD DVR.
