Whole Home installation in an apartment
I live in an apartment complex with a south, southwest facing balcony. The main living room has a door to that balcony that I can pass the coax through to connect the main TV to an HD DVR. However, I cannot run cables through the apartment to connect a dish reciever to the TV in the other bedroom. Can I get the Whole Home DVR system without having to run cables? The folks at DirecTV tell me that the connection to the other recievers in the house can be done wirelessly on my internet network, but I question his familiarity with the whole program. Any thoughts?

All of your DirecTV Receivers and DVRs require a satellite coax cable. If you can successfully route coax cables to the desired rooms, then WHDVR service is easy. But you can't use any DirecTV Receivers/DVRs without that coax cable. There are no wireless alternatives for that.
