Whole Home Playback freezes whole house

I have 5 receivers in the house.  The main TV has a HD DVR and we have one room with a standard HD receiver connected to Whole Home DVR.  The other 3 are standard receivers.  The system worked fine for year, but now when we do a playback from the non-DVR HD receiver, the picture on all the other TV's freeze.  We get random 771A messages and also must reboot the SWM.  The technician came out and replaced the main splitter and the LNB.  Of course, the whole system was powered down during this process and appeared to work for a few hours.  They are coming back out later this week for another try, but was hoping I could guide them in the right direction.  My feeling is that one or both of the HD receivers has problems.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have reset, repowered and hit the Red button daily for about 2 weeks now.  It is to the point that all I need to do is start a playback and within 30 seconds, all pictures are lost.

Thanks

I don't know what your problem is, but in a lot of Whole Home installations the signal from the HD DVR travels through the power inserter.  See pic on the left.  The preferred way is to take the PI out of the stream see pic on right.  You might print this pic and show it to the tech.  It's actually a print from a service bulletin supplied to all installers some time ago.

The Tech came yesterday and apparently, the non DVR HD receiver was an older generation.  He replaced it with the H25 and it's been working fine so far.  Hope this is the end of the issues.
