whole house HD DVR

I have 3 HR22 HD DVRs and would like to do the whole house HD DVR. I have a gigabit network installed. Is all I have to do it have Direct activate the Whole House system from their end to make it work?

Thanks

Robert

Yes. Provided your HR22's are connected to your home network.  But DirecTV won't provide any support if you have problems.

And assuming this giant network is hard wired.  Wireless and powerline won't work, and playback is best when each DVR/receiver has a dedicated line to the router.  Even better if those dedicated lines feed into a dedicated Ethernet switch.  The latter allows streaming between boxes without the signal entering the router while still networking the boxes to the LAN and Internet.
