Whole-Home Installation addition
I currently have a HR24 and a H24 in operation and both are internet wired and function with Whole-Home just fine. I just installed a 2nd H24 receiver in my gameroom and it does not recognize Whole-Home. Do I have to have a internet (wired or wireless), connection to the new receiver for whole-home to work?

Does your system run off of the SWM/DECA network or do they run off of Ethernet wired Network? A bit more information need about how your system is setup.

Excuse my ingorence but I believe it running off a SWIM (DECA) part I'm not sure of. When the system was ist installed a month ago the whole-home was operating between the first 2 receivers. I then installed a wired eithernet to the HR24 (to get On-Demand), and lost Whole-Home to the H24. I installed a wired ethernet the the H24 and had Whole-Home reconnected. Now that I have installed another H24 it appears I must install wire/wireless ethernet to it to get Whole-Home operational on that receiver.

What you've done is totally disconnect the supported DECA system and replaced it with the unsupported Ethernet system. What you should have done is call Directv and ask that they return and install the Cinema Connection Kit. This would have negated the need for the two Ethernet cables and would have made subsequent additions to the system a matter of connecting the coax. At this point you have two options:
Supported: Remove both Ethernet cables and get the Cinema Connection Kit installed. That will connect your DVR to the Internet and enable Whole Home.
Unsupported: Run another Ethernet cable to the new receiver, run a red button (inside card door) reset and you'll be good to go. Note that the unsupported may not work properly depending on network traffic etc.

Thanks for the straight answer - I called Directv call support and didn't that information. Question - Is the "Cinema Connection Kit" using my internet connection?

The Cinema Connection Kit provides the installer with a Broadband DECA Adapter and power supply that bridges your WHDVR coax DECA network to your home network/internet (ethernet).

Another question - Directv sent me "DECA-1MRO-01 Connected Home Adapter", (qty 2), after my last phone call with them and had a service call set up because they could get the Whole-Home working between the first 2 receivers. That evening through doinging some receiver resets the whole-home worked so I cancelled the service call. The next day I received 2 of the above and qty 2 "BSFRO-01 Band Stop Filters". Is the DECA-1MRO-01" the connection kit you described?

That's part of it. You also need a power supply to go with it. Check out http://www.solidsignal.com if you want to buy one yourself.

The "BSFRO-01 Band Stop Filters" are not needed because they will only block the traffic for WHDVR. The DECA-1MRO-01 you can use allog with the required power supply for it and a SWM 2way splitter, use of the 2way splitter is optional unless you can provide a dedicated cable run from your network router to the SWM splitter that everything connects to. After connection of the newly aquired DECA to connect the Internet to the SWM system you must do a complete system shut down. Reboot in the following order, SWM Power supply, Power Supply for Internet DECA, HR24 and then each H24 after giving at lease 10 seconds between each boot up on the receivers.

I appriciate everyone's help and now I'm going to clarify and confirm what I need to do.
1) Purchase a Power Supply
2) connect the power supply to the DECA box.
3) Connect my router to the DECA box
4) run a cable from the from the DECA box to a "OUT" terminal on my DirectV supplied Splitter (Green)
This will allow all 3 receivers to have SUPPORTED access to Whole-Home and Cinema One-Demand - right?

Spot on, but the DOD is only accessible to the HR24 not the H24. The H24 can view the DOD from the HR24 as soon as it becomes availible for viewing.
