Why do my Recordings come back after I have watched and deleted them? Over and over again?

I have several shows that I record to watch later, I have the series set to record Only New episodes. After I have watched an episode, I will then delete it. That should be it until the next week or next new episode. But that is not the case, several times I will turn on the Tv and go into the recordings just to find all the episodes that I have already seen (and deleted) either there again, or pending download from the demand channel. The Fox channel is #38 and the demand channel is # 1011. Why do I need to watch channel #1011 if I have already watched the same show on Channel #38?

Many times, after the season has ended the shows will appear, therefore using up my space and putting movies or other shows that have not been watched in the "last chance" section where they will be automatically deleted if I don't catch it on time. So, I have to manually delete the shows that somebody in Directv land decided I needed to see again. 

I have my Series Options set To Record Only New Episodes, so once I have deleted that episode on Channel #38 it should be gone forever. If I missed that episode then Me, Myself and I, no one else should be able to go to the Demand channels and hit record. Demand channels should not appear in our recordings unless we choose to put them there ourselves.
