Why does it take over 4 weeks to get my address moved?

I moved to a new house 5/30/19. I have called every day since before May to have address changed/set up installation in new house (which already has a dish on it). Everyone keeps saying my account has an error. It is obviously an IT problem...not my problem! Just send someone to turn on my service that I'm PAYING for!!! Seriously, I'm talking about over 4 weeks trying to move (which I believe AT&T advertises is an EASY thing to do). Can someone help me!!??

Hi There @MadinSC,

 

Move order are easy to do. It could be due to the amount of install techs that we have in the area to full an earlier date.  We can look at that. What we will do is move to a more private space, to gather some information from you.

 

To get started with your resolution, we will be sending you a private message to your forums inbox.

 

Once you get the notification, please do the following steps:


1. Log-in to your forums account.
2. Click on the envelope icon
3. Click on the message that you get
4. Reply to that message only
