Have you reset the main genie using the red button? --When the TV picture returns -- Start the C41 --if you get the message waiting for a Signal from the server --Then Press the red button on the C41
The C41 is a Mini Genie which is a Client of the main Genie, not a receiver. What model is the Genie?
Verify coax is finger tight to all boxes.
Red button reset the main Genie.
When complete, then do the same on the Client.
If issue is not resolved you can try unplugging power from both for a minute. Just have the Genie fully back on before doing the same to the Client. Unlike a simple reset, this clears residual memory (including guide data) and rebuilds the info.
After that then either you have a problem box that needs to be replaced or an issue with the physical connection (the coax) between the two.
