WIFI CONNECTION
Can not connect receiver to Spectrum wifi.
It was working two weeks ago.
Call tech support three times, no help.
Had new receiver installed by tech person, he could not make it work.
Is Spectrum blocking direct tv's wifi signal??

What is the receiver model? Are you trying to connect the receiver to the Internet via wireless Wi-Fi or over Ethernet (wired connection)? Are you able to connect to WiFi on other devices?

Why would they? It doesn't matter who your ISP is DTV receivers should be able to connect to them.

In the same boat. Everything I have including the tvs connect to spectrum but cannot get direct tv to connect. It finds the internet but once I input pass it says wireless not found. Any ideas ?

I have a linksys router connected to the Spectrum modem, not using their router. I can connect my direct tv.
