Yes, your DirecTV Receiver should work with that dish.  It's strictly SD, though.  No HD reception.  Configure the Receiver for the "18-in Round" dish.  And you can find aiming coordinates at http://www.dishpointer.com.

This antenna is a manual alignment type dish just for DTV. For the most part, if any RV has a mgted sat antenna on it as long as you know that it was set for the correct service, then you should have no problem.

I was able to successfully get my Winegard satellite RV dish to work with my direct TV receiver in my motorhome by reading this post. Thank you. What I am having trouble with is having my receiver hold the 18" dish setting when i turn it off. actually we had tripped a breaker and then It defaults to the Slimline dish setting.
So I am wondering how to not have to reset each time.

In order for the settings to hold,, you need to repeat the satellite set up and continue the process with the receiver connected to a working dish, once he receiver successfully goes through the set up an acquires the guide data, the settings will hold
