Wireless bridge model # HS17-500

The status light is solid yellow and there is a 775 error code on TV.  I have tried unplugging and resetting the bridge several times, all connections are tightly connected.  I checked the dish and everything looks normal.

That's not just a "wireless bridge".  It's your main Genie DVR Server.

775 means that the dish is not getting power.  The HS17 has a built-in dish power supply.  So here are some things to check ....

  1. All coax cable connections are snug
  2. HS17 satellite cable connects via any SWM Coax Splitters via the red "power passing" port, otherwise power won't reach the dish LNB
  3. When did the problem start?  This could also be a defective dish LNB or HS17 itself.

The problem started last night so of course a technician can’t come out until tomorrow due to it being the weekend.  We have a smart box, it looks like the SWIM adapter is in our smart box and the red coax cable goes from the HS17 to the wall

cable jack.  Sounds like this will not be an easy fix and I will have to wait for a technician

Can you post a photo of the stuff in that "smart box" so we can see the labels and how they're connected?

You've verified that all of the coax connections are tight, right?

Yes, the coax cables are as tight as I can get them.

And the HS17 is connected to the "Power Passing (red)" port on the Splitter?

And what's the coax cable hanging in the air in that last photo?
