Wireless Mini Genie Won’t Connect to Direct TV Cinema Connection Kitchen

We had a wireless video bridge- everything worked with our main and mini genies, EXCEPT for our demand channels.  We were sent a Direct TV Cinema Connection Kit to replace the WVB with.  Now our demand channels work, but our only wireless mini genie in one of our spare rooms will NOT connect to the cable at all.  It keeps telling it needs to be connected to the WVB- of which we were told to replace with the DTCK.
