Wireless option available vs box
I’m putting a new smart tv on a wall without internet or cable & looking for an option instead of running wires & cable all across the room to it?

If you have a Genie you can get a WVB(unless you have an HS17 Genie2 that has it built in) and a wireless mini client to put behind the TV.

Even a wireless Mini Genie Client (or Gemini) will be wired from the box to the TV itself. Some people use the small form factor to hide behind the TV.
What are the models of boxes you have now? And are you adding a TV to your total?

Thanks for sharing your insights @shannon02 and @Juniper. That's right, wireless genie mini communicates wirelessly with the Genie HD DVR but does require a power cord and HDMI or component cable connection to the TV. John, DIRECTV Community Specialist

There are adaptors for wireless HDMI, but 4K will be expensive.
There are also some TV's that have wireless HDMI built in.
Look at Samsung or LG
