41% price increase
Just received an email telling me my monthly price for the Entertainment package on DirecTV Stream will go from $75 to $106. I expected an increase after the Disney dispute was settled, but a 41% increase? Really?? Am I reading the email correctly?

Did you have a discount that expired?

I have a $10 discount making my bill $64.99. This set to expire May 15, 2025. Which would raise my bill to $74.99 (unless there's a price increase which is apparently happening.... BIG TIME).

Actually, the email looks a little suspect to me. I'm wondering if it's even legit. Here it is in its entirety......

I agree, log into your account and check the full bill details. Either that email has a bad calculation, or you have more expiring than you thought.
Key point: When your promo code expires on Nov 15,2024, your total payment for ENTERTAINMENT will be $106.00 + tax or then-prevailing rate.

Did you apply for the Disney 30 dollar credit for the blackout? That might explain your billing going from 79.99 to 49.99 for one month (the regular price for entertainment is 79.99)..... But not sure why it would go to 106 after that. Yah check your upcoming charges on the website. Something seems fishy lol

I did apply for the $30 discount, so you may be correct there. Good recommendation to check upcoming billing. I will do that. Thanks to all those who have responded.

Keep in mind that this price increase went into effect with or without the Disney dispute.
That price increase should be reflected in next year's price increase.
