😞 Lost My Channels

I HAD THEM & NOW I DON’T

I started service 9•25•2023 and had Ultimate package Directv Streaming Service(282) Channels but now as of:  12•26•2023 I have only (163) Channels but Directv still thinks I should pay them the same amount of money for the service. They took away (120) Channels from my package saying it not on the streaming service, only on satellite 📡.  Everything is on Satellite and hardly nothing is on Streaming services anymore.

Once in a while a channel or two might change packages, perhaps a network owner is in negotiations, but that would only be a handful at most. Certainly not the 120 you mention.

How are you coming to the conclusion you have lost that many channels? What channels are you missing?

I do not understand I have had the Ultimate package for a while now and it has never had 282 channels only about 140 channels give or take and none of them have disappeared other than my NBC channel due to the Tegna dispute. The only way that you would have had that many channels is if you were getting the Premier Package are you sure you were not getting a promotion for the movie channels and that expired hence the reason you lost channels? The Satellite service has many more channels than the streaming service are you sure you weren't a Sat customer who switched over to the Streaming Service?

Since the dates the OP mentions reflect 3 months, I wonder if they refer to the standard promotion of 3 free months of the premium channels for a new account (at least the satellite service does that). Though for the satellite service you have to call to remove at the end if you don't want to pay for since it only ends the credit that makes it free, not removing the channel itself.

So at the moment I suspect the OP misunderstood something. Have to see if they post back to clarify a few things to make sense of this.

(and before it gets dispute, yes we understand the OP is referring to DIRECTV STREAM. Simply parallels with the satellite service are used as a reference point for possibilities).
