Can you please explain a little bit more? Why would you lose YouTube when switching? Are you planning to use a Directv Streaming Box to view Hulu?

DirecTV and DIRECTV STREAM do not provide YouTube. Whether you pay for YouTube's TV service, or just their free options, it is accessed through whatever streaming device you have.
