Upgrading to Peacock Premium plus?

Just cancel the service through DirecTV Stream and subscribe to the service as a standalone subscription. If you ever leave DirecTV Stream, you will always have Peacock.

I too would like to upgrade to ad-free Peacock Premium Plus from the $2.99 deal. Seems like it should be a no brainer for both Peacock and DirecTV.

Peacock keeps their in-house streaming service separate from options they give TV providers. Like other network owners, they want to have exclusive options to encourage people to spend money with them directly.

with the current dispute between NBC local affiliate and directv stream - will peacock premium purchased through directv give me my local channel and also access to the nbc network programming in real time.

If purchased through DIRECTV STREAM I would expect NBC/local content through Peacock to be blocked. This is because as it is through your DIRECTV STREAM credentials they can see your area is not authorized.

That is how it usually works. If TV provider that is in negotiations is in the mix, NBC would say no as Tegna is not authorizing it. But as DirecTV has been offering that one-time $10 courtesy credit, if you take advantage of it you could put it towards it to try and be sure.

@mjc8atcox no you won't get your local nbc affiliate through peacock via directv. You have to subscribe directly through peacock to get your live local nbc because you have to have their highest tier which is peacock premium plus for $11.99 a month

I currently have Peacock Premium and Peacock Premium Plus Ad Free directly with Peacock. I would like to get the $2.00 discount through DirecTV but not sure how to proceed. If I cancel Peacock Premium with Peacock and add it to my DirecTV account, can I keep the Peacock Premium Plus Ad Free account with Peacock and not see ads? I have asked DirecTV and they don't have an answer. It's not worth saving $2.00/month to have to watch their adds.

Is Peacock Premium Plus available now or going to be available through DirecTV? I have seen it is available and not available. Very confusing and I can't manage to find a way to talk with someone at Peacock for clarification. Help!

I don't see that it is available. It is not listed as an add-on.
