Controlling Osprey behind wall with TV Remote
With my Apple TV, the Samsung remote controls the Apple TV even though it is not in line of sight and behind a wall. The Samsung remote will not work with the Osprey DIRECTV Stream box behind a wall or in a cabinet. It must be in line of site. Does the Osprey box have that capability?

No, when using an universal remote like a Samsung remote to control the DIRECTV STREAM Osprey Box, there is no RF mode capability.

Directv Stream box remote is bluetooth. I take it with me into the kitchen and it works from the other room behind a wall.

Right but not a universal remote like a Samsung which the OP appears to be using.
